At twenty, she moved to Italy to dance and teach full time, and after a few months there she and dance partner, Pasquale Farina opened their own dance school. After more than 300 competitions as amateurs including a Danish Championship in 2019, they turned professional in November 2021, being finalists at the World championship for professionals in Standard in 2021. Currently, Sofie is based in Denmark, teaching at Bendixen Dans in Copenhagen and coaching competition couples from youths to seniors. She received her judge’s certification from the Danish Dance Sport Federation (DS) in 2022 and we are so happy to have her back again this year as Nordic Open adjudicator.
